Will I be charged a tariff?

Yes.

Since the US withdrew its $800 de minimis allowance on 29 August 2025, import duty applies to every shipment regardless of value, including personal imports. This is now permanent.

Revo-Rack Tariff information :

The Revo-Rack is manufactured in the United Kingdom and classified as a motor vehicle part and accessory. Under the UK–US trade arrangement, UK-origin automotive parts qualify for a reduced total US duty of around 10% of the declared value. This is the full rate — there is no separate base duty on top.

The July 2026 changes do not affect this

On 24 July 2026 the United States replaced its temporary global import surcharge with new Section 301 duties of 10–12.5% on most imports. Goods already covered by Section 232 automotive tariffs — including ours — are excluded from that action. Your rate is unchanged.

We do not control import costs or the exact duty line applied by DHL and US Customs. Minor variation between shipments is normal — duties may be rounded up, or additional service fees applied.

How it's collected

All customs paperwork is processed by DHL Express. They will email you before delivery with a breakdown of the duty payable online.

We ship under customs code/HS code: 4202.92.91.00 'Travel, sports, or similar bags (textile outer surface)' Country of origin is the United Kingdom

    • Applicable U.S. tariff (MFN / Column 1)
    • For HS 4202.92.91.00, the U.S. MFN (normal trade relations) duty rate is 17.6%.
    • This is a long-standing, structural tariff on bags and luggage — completely unrelated to the Supreme Court ruling, and Trumps 10% general tariff of July 2026.
    • The UK does not have a free trade agreement with the U.S. covering this product category, so full MFN duty applies

Please note we do not control the import costs or the exact duty line applied by DHL & US Customs it is beyond our control and minor variation shipment to shipment is normal. 

DHL & US Customs may :

    • Round up duties
    • Apply a temporary surcharge
    • Add additional service fee

 

We would also like to draw your attention to clauses 3 & 4 of our terms and conditions agreed prior to purchase. 

3. Customs Duties and Tariffs:

The customer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and tariffs imposed by the destination country. The final price paid for the goods does not include these additional charges. If the customer refuses to pay the applicable tariffs and the goods are returned to us, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs and any associated fees.

4. Chargebacks and Refunds:

In the event that a chargeback is initiated by the customer due to non-receipt of goods, and the goods are returned because of the customer’s refusal to pay customs duties, the customer will not be eligible for a full refund. The customer will be liable for any shipping costs and any other fees incurred in the process.
