The modern car luggage racks we sell come in either black or stainless steel finish. They are made just outside Turin Italy in a small town called Volvera. The company that manufactures them has invested significantly in tooling and have been making car roof bars and luggage racks for over 40 years.
The racks measure 108x42cm / 43.2"x16.8" they sit 10cm or 4" off the trunk lid and attach using 4 feet that are tightened on the trunk lid, they can carry 65lbs What's most impressive about this rack is the quality of the finish and the simple but very effective design the rack uses to attach to the boot lid. The rack has four feet that can swivel and simply clamp onto the edge of your boot-lid. The fixing points the feet attach too simply slide along the rails and like the fit are held in place with a bolt. The luggage racks feet are rubber coated to reduce the risk of any damage to your Saab's boot lid.
As the Saab 93's boot lid is very shallow the roof cannot be operated with the rack fitted but the rack can be fitted with the hood up or down.

Due to the way the roof operates on the 93 cabriolet it's not possible to use the roof with the rack in place.
Trunk can just be opened with the luggage rack in place.
