Revo-Rack was conceived in Mid 2016 when we realised that the new Miata ND had such a tiny gap between the trunk and rear quarter the days of clamping a rack to the trunk edge are over. Modern cars panels are so close there is no room for the clamp. It fits the 124 spider perfectly and will not mark or damage the paintwork, even on the matt black trunk of the Abarth model.
We manufacture the rack ourselves it attaches to your Fiats deck lid using vacuum cup technology originally developed in Hollywood in the 1960's to hold camera's to cars. The rack frame is available in either black or a model thats hand polished and anodised for a near chrome level of shine. ( The 124 requires a standard Revo-Rack ) Revo-Rack has been tested to ISO/PAS 11154-:2006 Road vehicles -- Roof load carriers : The international standard for roof bars. There is no standard for luggage racks. The rack underwent testing designed for roof bars, speed tests, load tests, and emergency braking tests. It passed all these tests. We believe it is the only convertible luggage rack for sale globally tested to this standard/level.
