Boot-bag ?
Boot-bag is a waterproof luggage bag that simply straps to the trunk lid of your Miata adding either 1.75 or 2.65 cubic feet of waterproof luggage space. The bag simply straps around your Mazda Miata's trunk. It sits on a soft non slip mat to protect paintwork. The straps stay in place once the bag is fitted and won't rub the trunk edge. We have been making boot-bag by hand in Buckinghamshire England since 2008 and ship daily to the USA with DHL.

Revo-Rack was designed and created for the 2015 Mazda MX5 Miata. Whilst test fitting a boot-bag to the new ND at our local Mazda dealer we noticed how small Mazda had made the panel gaps. ( The gap between the trunk and rear quarter ) We tried test fitting our Italian made Spring racks but it was not possible the gap was too small for a metal clamp.
Revo-Rack is a unique design of Miata ND Luggage Rack that eliminates the risk of paint damage, caused by steel clamps or straps on the trunk/deck lid edges. With the Revo-Rack no metal touches your MX5/Miata only soft rubber vacuum cups. These use the pressure of the atmosphere to secure the rack to your Mazda's trunk.These are not suction cups suction creates vacuum. We have been manufacturing the Revo-Rack since 2016 its available in either a black finish or a version thats hand polished then anodised to create a deep shine.
We have partnered with a family business based in southern Europe that has specialised in bending tube for over 50 years. Revo-Rack is manufactured to small tolerances with great pride and attention to detail.
With the Revo-Rack no metal touches your MX5/Miata only soft rubber vacuum cups these use the pressure of the atmosphere to secure the rack to your Mazda's trunk lid, the rack sits on air. These are very very different to suction cups.
We are of course aware that Mazda suggests a maximum load of 10kg for their carbon fibre rack on the MK4/ND because of the cars aluminium trunk lid. This clamps on a like a conventional rack with the weight of the rack and load spread over a very small area, approx 16 inches square ; the footprint of the clamps on the edge of the trunk.
With the Revo-Rack the load is spread over a much greater area over 120 inches ; the footprint of the vacuum cups. Its spread load not a point load like a conventional rack, hence the Revo-Rack can carry a greater load ( 20kg/45lbs ) with no risk of damage to the trunk lid.
Revo-Rack has been independently safety tested by TUV Group. Along with braking, speed and lab testing to a loaded Revo-Rack one of the criteria for certification involves a 645N force test. A lifting force of around 65kg/145lbs for 10 minutes to a Revo-Rack with a 25kg/55lbs load on it. The Revo-Rack stayed secure and did not bend or deform. If attached properly Revo-Rack is as secure if not more secure than a traditional clamp rack.
